My doctor prescribed the BD brand and my pharmacist substituted a generic brand. The generic brand though cheaper was unacceptabe. The pen needles did not form a tight seal on the pen. I will never use anything other than BD brand again. Med supply charged me less than what my pharmacy charged even with medicare and Aetna supplemental ins.
