    Dermarite Industries Dermacol Collagen Dressing:

  • DermaCol  Collagen Wound Dressing is intended for the management of exuding wounds and the control of minor bleeding. This microfibrillar Type 1 bovine collagen provides a physiologically favorable environment that encourages wound healing. Not made with natural rubber latex. The DermaCol Dressing creates ideal conditions for healing and protecting a variety of wound types. The flexible dressing transforms into a soft, cooling gel sheet when it comes in contact with wound exudate, making it comfortable and gentle on the skin. It's made with four key ingredients that work together to promote healing: sodium alginate, collagen, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), and carboxylmethylcellulose (CMC). These ingredients absorb excess exudate, initiate healing in stalled and chronic wounds, and encourage granulation.
